If you had to pick one thing from Misfit Concepts to keep forever, what would it be?
How am I supposed to pick just one thing? Impossible. But if I had to, top of the list would be any time spent in the salon with Ariana (and of course, Taylor and Libby) —the vibes are always immaculate. Also, a latte from Café Misfit is non-negotiable. But if we’re talking products, my forever favorite is the Cult + King Jelly. I’ve been using it for almost four years now, and as someone with naturally wild, borderline-feral hair, it’s a game-changer. A little of that, some Kevin Murphy Young Again oil, and suddenly I look like I put in effort—when really, I woke up late most likely.
What’s something you’re obsessed with right now?
Lately, I’ve been deep in the world of quilting. You know how it goes—you pick up a new hobby four months before Christmas, convinced you’ll be a prodigy and everyone’s getting homemade gifts whether they like it or not. Well I actually stuck with this one, and now I’m fully obsessed. Fabric stores? My new natural habitat. Quilting TikTok? My entire algorithm.

What’s your go-to self-care ritual?
For self care I love a little hot girl walk in nature. That seems to reset me well. Or I'm a put on a facemask while eating a James Brownie Funky Jackhammer from Andy's. My soul's comfort food.
You just won a free trip anywhere in the universe—where are you going, and what’s the first thing you do there?
I would love a little tour around Italy. Naturally, the first thing I'm doing is finding some pasta, for this pasta princess.
You get to invent your own beauty product. What does it do, and what ridiculous name do you give it?
This one is fun. I would invent some kind of contraption that would put my make up on my face for me in the mornings, while I take a little nap. It's called the Nap & Snatch. Coming soon to stores near you.
Do you have a side hustle, creative project, or something cool you’d love for us to shout out?
Well I side hustle a lot of really cool events around Murfreesboro and I keep saying I'm retired from bartending and then find myself behind a bar a week later. My main event though is my pride and joy. I'm running my second season of the TN Renaissance Festival that runs weekends in May. It's an incredible event that's been around for 39 years. It's so fun and I'm very proud of it. Come dress like a fairy and eat a turkey leg there is really nothing better. Besides Misfit Concepts of course.

I think everyone should have a shag or a lady mullet at least once in their life. I still day dream about the lady mullet Ariana gave me in 2022.
